Introduction

Orthodontics

Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. The results of orthodontic treatment can be dramatic and result in beautiful smiles, improved dental health and an enhanced quality of life for people of all ages.

Before active treatment can begin, the doctor must first complete a set of records to develop a treatment plan specific to each patient.

Proper diagnosis involves careful study of photographs, x-rays, and dental impressions. We will share with you all of her findings and recommendations at a separate, detailed review appointment.

Outstanding results are highly dependent on maximum cooperation and coordination of care between you and our practice. We are committed to delivering the best possible service in order for you to achieve your orthodontic goals

What's the right age for Orthodontic Treatment?

According to the American Association of Orthodontists, children should have an initial orthodontic screening at age 7. Consultations are complimentary.

Early evaluation isn’t necessarily followed by early treatment. In many cases, we simply monitor your child’s development and growth patterns until we see that it’s time for treatment to begin. This gives us an opportunity to get the best results in the most efficient way, to help prevent future problems and to get to know you and your child better
